At the heart of Engage is a desire to encourage each other to Grow as Disciples of Jesus. We do so as we connect with God, in his word and prayer.
Engage happens in two ways - all together and small groups.
The major focus on Engage: Together is to engage with God in prayer. In Engage: Small Groups we focus on engaging with God through his word. At both, we want to Engage with each other, to support and encourage each other as disciples of Jesus.
At Engage: Together we worship, dig into God's word and pray together.
Meeting in our Chryston building, fortnightly, on Wednesdays. During term time, there are 3 slots - 7-7:30am, 10-11am, and 7:45-9pm. During the school holidays, Engage: Together only meets in the evening, at 745pm.
At Engage: Small Groups we meet fortnightly during term time. They meet on various times and days of the week, in various locations, and usually in someone’s home.
In addition to helping people develop their Christian faith, they allow us to dig deeper into the Bible, to meet for prayer, and to share concerns and provide practical and pastoral support for each other and people we know.
This term in Engage: Small Groups we are looking at the book of Nehemiah. You can download the guide here If you would like to know more about Engage: Small groups, or sign up to join one, speak with Mary Fleming - maryjoyfleming@aol.com
Engage: One to One. If you want to know more about the Christian faith, have questions about what the bible teaches or are struggling in life, then one of our ministry team would be happy to meet with you one to one, to chat further.
We can meet up at a place of your choosing – in the church, a coffee shop or your home – wherever you are most comfortable.
