I was called to be minister of Chryston Parish Church in 2008 and - having grown up in Bargeddie not so far from here - it was something of a ‘homecoming’. The church’s ethos of Proclaiming the Word and Prayer is something that I hold dear. It is a privilege to be part of the ministry team in Chryston and Muirhead. We live in exciting and difficult times as a church family, but we remain focused on mission and outreach discovering new ways to make Jesus known.
I have three children: Rachel, Hannah and Ruth. I am the odd one out in the family as being the only one not doing Judo preferring to relax by playing rugby at a slower and slower pace as the years go by. We are thankful for the Church family here in Chryston and in ministry return often to this line, “We are to glorify God and enjoy Him for ever.”
